We are currently hiring a full-time salary position, and an hourly, part-time Education Coordinator/Instructor (ECI). The ECI's will organize events/activities and collaborate with schools and the executive director in order to ensure they work together effectively. College student mentors will receive a $500 stipend (per semester) for tutoring students
Founder will assist college students in finding cultural and leadership organizations to be involved in at their colleges.
Career assessments and evaluation to determine the best career path according to their interest.

Volunteer hours will be documented for resume

- Help SCD students with any needed academic tutoring for success.
- Share experiences and study techniques with students to prepare for college
- Encourage a positive attitude toward learning.
- Mentors and students meet during the school day and/or after school
- Assist students in completing college and scholarship applications
- Mentors spend approximately one hour each week during the school year developing connections with successful students and professional to discuss and complete workshops on navigating the educational system and real world as a person of color
Qualifications
- Present student in a local college or university
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Be in Good standing with your college or University
- Be able to commit to the full school year as a mentor (September to May)
